compacts protect photomasks from outgassed components. Each
material used in our compacts is chosen because test results have
demonstrated a low level of total organic components and low levels of
critical cations and anions.
Research Pozzetta has conducted with third party laboratories has
shown that placing an Adsorbent Pouch Filter in the compact
when it is used to ship a photomask can further reduce total outgassed
components.
Each filter is a custom formulated adsorbent material designed to
adsorb volatile organics/hydrocarbons, acid gases, and water vapor.
Filters lasts up to one year in a clean room environment. Each filter
is manufactured in a class 100 clean room and rinsed with de-ionized
water to remove any particulates.
Currently used in the computer disc drive industry, Pozzetta is the
first photomask compact manufacturer to study their effectiveness.
